Per Bjurbom has been appointed President and CEO of Rottneros, effective March 12, 2026, succeeding acting CEO Magnus Wikström. Bjurbom brings more than 35 years of international leadership experience in the pulp, paper and packaging sectors, having held senior executive roles at Nordic Paper, Billerud, Holmen and Stora Enso. The appointment was confirmed by Rottneros's Board of Directors.
The board expressed confidence that Bjurbom's experience in operational turnarounds and business development will contribute to the company's advancement.
Acting CEO Magnus Wikström will leave the position following the appointment, with the board acknowledging his stable leadership during the search process.
Rottneros is an independent producer of market pulp.
