Saint-Gobain divests distribution businesses in Belgium and Brazil

Saint-Gobain has completed the divestment of two distribution businesses: SFIC Belgium and Brazil's Tumelero, as part of its strategic "Lead & Grow" plan.

The Belgian business, which specializes in plasterboard, insulation and ceilings, has annual sales of approximately Euro 75 million and operates 10 branches.

Tumelero, a construction materials retail chain in southern Brazil, generated annual sales of around Euro 40 million and operates 16 stores and one logistics center.

Combined, the divested entities employed approximately 703 people. Saint-Gobain is a global leader in light and sustainable construction, designing and manufacturing materials for the construction and industrial markets.
