Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in February 2022 was worth Euro 6 million, which is about 18% more than a month ago. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 26% and of other industrial roundwood by about 68%. The values of pulpwood and wood fuel were lower by about 13% and 22%, respectively, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia reported.
Compared to February 2021, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners was about 18% higher. The values of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs and of other industrial roundwood were higher by about 40% and 76%, respectively, while the values of pulpwood and wood fuel were lower by about 45% and 15%, respectively.
