Timberjack official service center to be built on IlimSeverLes

Apr 11, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. IlimSeverLes (Irkutsk region, Russia, owned by Ilim Pulp) signed an agreement with Timberjack-JohnDeere to build an official service center to provide the maintenance of Timberjack machines, corporate spokesperson told Lesprom.ru. The service center will provide service maintenance of timber machines, train the staff to use the equipment properly. As reported earlier, in December 2004 Ilim Pulp signed an agreement at JohnDeere head office on the supplies of another lot of timber machines. The cost of the agreement exceeds the amount of all previously signed contracts with Russian customers. In line with the agreement Ilim Pulp will acquire timber equipment worth $100 by 2008. The creation of a technical maintenance center became possible due to the successful cooperation. 48 Timberjack machines are currently used by IlimSeverLes and provide timber production of 1 million cub m of timber/yr.
