(“VEP”), a Dutch industrial investment company, announce that VEP has acquired a controlling majority interest in the Company.

Cordier Papier Holding GmbH and Cordier Spezialpapier GmbH (together “Cordier”), a leading German manufacturer of graphic and technical speciality papers, and Value Enhancement Partners B.V. (“VEP”), a Dutch industrial investment company, announce that VEP has acquired a controlling majority interest in the Company.

In recent years Cordier has been successful in developing new products in close collaboration with its partners, in addition to the existing portfolio of specialty papers, and in entering into new partnerships for its upcycling operations. The transaction between VEP and the owners of Cordier was completed by the end of 2017.

Cordier produces high-end, uncoated, wood-free book paper, primarily for the European book market, as well as specialty technical papers for global niche markets.
