Harold Kostka was appointed CEO of Wintersteiger Holding AG. Kostka has been CFO of the global mechanical and plant engineering firm since 2014 and will continue in this function as he exercises a dual role as CEO and CFO. Based in Ried im Innkreis, Austria, the corporate group employs 1200 people and records annual sales of roughly Euro 250 million.

Kostka takes over from Dr. Florestan von Boxberg, who had led the company as CEO for the last seven years. Boxberg himself will join the Supervisory Board of the Wintersteiger Holding AG at the next annual general meeting.

Thomas Fürkötter is also joining the Wintersteiger Management Board to take up the newly created role of CTO with immediate effect. With over 20 years of experience in international supply chain projects at Karl Mayer, SAF-Holland, Magna Electronics, Schaeffler, and other well-respected firms, Fürkötter is ideally equipped to improve productivity at Wintersteiger and continue to advance the drive towards digitalization.

Fürkötter's expertise in integrating and industrializing corporate acquisitions will play a key role, as new CEO Kostka sees both new acquisitions and organic growth as significant aspects of Wintersteiger's future strategy. The corporate group is targeting an annual turnover of Euro 400 million by 2027.
