Cabinet manufacturers reported overall U.S. cabinet sales decreased by 7.7% in March 2026 compared to the same month in 2025, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).
Total year-to-date sales for the U.S. cabinet industry reached $512.2 million through March 2026, a 9.4% decrease from $565.4 million in the same period last year, driven by weaker demand across all product categories.
Custom cabinet sales decreased by 10.5% to 133.9 million, while semi-custom sales fell 8.3% to $297.7 million. Stock cabinet sales declined by 11.7% to $80.6 million.
Total cabinet quantity sold through March 2026 was 1.35 billion units, a decrease of 10.7% compared with 1.51 billion units in the same period last year.
