Effective January 1, 2022, American Forest Management (AFM) will promote Matt Taylor to Texas Region Manager.
Taylor will replace Rodney Schroeder who will retire December 31, 2021. He will be responsible for overseeing AFM’s land management operations in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. AFM manages approximately 500,000 acres of timberland in the region for both large institutional clients and smaller non-industrial private forestland (NIPF) clients.
Taylor has over 24 years of experience in wildlife and land management. Matt has been with AFM for over 12 years serving as Texas Region Wildlife Biologist where he was instrumental in serving a wide variety of clients with their wildlife management needs.
