The company had first-quarter profit of 55.570 billion pesos ($119.5 million) versus 45.061 billion pesos in the year-ago period ($96.7 million). CMPC’s operation in the forestry, pulp, paper, folding boxboard, tissue products, newsprint, multiwalled paper sacks, corrugated cardboard boxes, participating in more than 50 countries.
