Nov 22, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Indian paper maker Ballarpur Industries Ltd. said on Tuesday that workers at one of its plants in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh had gone on strike. The company said it was negotiating with the workers to resume production at the pulp making unit. Ballarpur's shares were down 1.5% at INR 105.30 ($2.3) in a weak Mumbai market. BILT is the largest and most respected paper company in India and a leader in the segments of writing and printing paper. It also enjoys a sustainable presence in the key global markets.
