The rebuilt machine will be started up in March, 2008. The value of the order is not disclosed. The delivery features the SymBelt press. SymBelt is Metso Paper's state-of-the-art pressing technology, which utilizes a patented shoe press design for increased performance. Other equipment to be supplied from Metso include: dryer section modifications, air system ventilation equipment, and press pit pulper. The 8.4-meter wide D-1 board line will produce high-quality linerboard in a basis weight range of 127-337 g. Metso Paper is the global market leader and a forerunner in pulp and paper technology.
