Jul 10, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Magnus Diesen, executive vice president, corporate strategy and member of the management group, will retire on 30 September 2006. He joined the company in 1988 and became head of the corporate strategy, investments and business planning staff function in 1992 and the chairman of the investment committee. As previously announced, group strategy is now headed by Antti Jääskeläinen, senior vice president. This function is part of Stora Enso finance and strategy headed by Hannu Ryöppönen, CFO. Stora Enso is an integrated paper, packaging, and forest products company, producing publication and fine paper, packaging board, and wood products – all areas in which the group is a global market leader. Stora Enso’s sales totalled Euro 13.2 billion in 2005. The group has some 46 000 employees in more than 40 countries on five continents.
