Nov 07, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. The supervisory board of Pfleiderer Grajewo has approved a draft investment proposal for the construction of a factory producing thin medium-density fibreboards (MDF). The factory will be located in Grajewo within the special economic zone (SSE) and will cost Euro 83 million. The board of Grajewo announced that the new factory's capacity will reach 250,000 cubic meters of MDF. Production is planned for the second quarter of 2007. The investment will be financed from the company's own funds and bank loans. Grajewo gained an assurance of wood supplies for the new factory's needs. Grajewo's board announced that with reference to the supervisory board's decision, changes to the previously planned investments concerning the construction of a MDF/HDF (high-density fibreboard) factory have been introduced. As Pfleiderer recently took over the Kunz group, which has experience in MDF production, Grajewo's board will invite Kunz to take part in the investment.
