Pinnacle Developments, Inc. is pleased to announce its initiation to the second phase of its lath importation business from three containers per month to 10 containers per month over the next 90 days. The ultimate goal is to import 20 containers per month. These laths are used by larger lumber producers to stabilize lifts of lumber during storage and transport. They are placed between the tiers of lumber at right angles to the boards to tie the lumber lifts together. The placement of these laths and the piling of the lumber into lifts are accomplished using an automated mechanized process, hence the need to provide high-quality knot-free laths that will stand up to the rigors of this type of process. The company is currently working on the financing to increase the importation to 10 containers per month. Gross revenues are expected to move from $75 000 per month to $250 000 per month with profits from this operation moving from $15 000 per month to $50 000 per month.
