Rayonier Advanced Materials has named Scott M. Sutton as its new Chief Executive Officer and President, effective 5 January 2026. Sutton, the former President and CEO of Olin Corporation, will also join the company's Board of Directors. He brings over 30 years of global leadership experience in the chemicals and materials sectors to the cellulose-based technologies firm, according to the Company.
Sutton succeeds DeLyle W. Bloomquist, who is retiring after leading the company. Bloomquist will serve as an advisor during the transition to ensure leadership continuity. The appointment places a leader with a track record in operational improvement and strategic transformation at the helm of Rayonier Advanced Materials as it focuses on its biomaterials strategy.
