Dec 16, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. The output of wood processing companies operating in Ukraine increased 20% year-on-year in January-November 2005, the State Statistics Committee said. Ukrainian wood processing sector registered a 0.2% month-on-month increase and 21.8% year-on-year rise in its production in November alone. In January-November 2005 particleboard production increased 20% to 1.044 million cubic meters, plywood production went up 20.8% to 158 000 cubic meters and the output of fiberboard grew 0.8% to 21.9 million square meters. Sawnwood output decreased 5.3% to 1.249 million cubic meters.
