Arauco will install Raute's Visual Analyzer R7 systems with artificial intelligence to modernize panel repair operations at two mills in Chile, according to the technology supplier Raute.

The investment covers AI-based analyzers for panel repairing lines at both facilities. The Visual Analyzer R7 enables advanced defect detection and supports more accurate and efficient panel repair operations through AI-based analysis.

The project targets improvements in both quality and productivity for the panel repairing process.

Deliveries are scheduled for late 2026. No order value or production capacity figures were disclosed.
