Pusterla 1880 has officially inaugurated a new production site in Sousse, Tunisia, representing a strategic investment in the Group's international development and long-term presence in the Mediterranean region.
The new facility has been designed around a semi-automated production model integrating modern production lines with a focus on quality and precision, serving leading global beauty, fragrances, premium drinks, and jewelry brands with advanced luxury packaging solutions.
The site employs around 260 people, bringing the Group's total Tunisian workforce to approximately 600 employees, combining technology and know-how to deliver high-end secondary packaging for the beauty and fragrance, wine and spirits, fashion, and jewellery industries.
The project included an initial investment of Euro 4 million, with an additional Euro 3 million planned for future expansion phases, with investments focusing on production technologies, training, workplace safety, sustainability, and the development of local skills.
