U.S. pellet exports to UK decreased 31.6% y-o-y to 352.4 thousand tones in April 2019 with exports value fell 40.0% to $49.1 million, according to USDA data. The share of UK in U.S. pellet exports declined 16.4 pp to 83%. Average price for pellets supplied from U.S. to UK slid 12.3% to $139 per tones.
Pellet exports to Belgium from U.S. soared 40 times to 56.7 thousand tones, export value jumped 50 times to $8.05 million.
Total pellet exports from U.S. declined 18.0% to 424.7 thousand tones with export value fell 27.1% to $60.3 million.
