JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. has named Christian Michel as Executive Vice President and President for its European operations, effective 8 June 2026. Michel joins the firm from Alvarez & Marsal, where he most recently served as a managing director. Prior to that role, he was Chief Executive Officer of Garnica Plywood Group, according to JELD-WEN Holding.
Chief executive officer William J. Christensen stated that Michel’s experience will help strengthen the European business. Michel holds a master of business administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
