84 Lumber has opened a new 85,000 square foot door shop near Austin, Texas, expanding its manufacturing and service capabilities in the region. The facility, operational since 5 November 2025, is positioned to supply door products for single-family and multifamily construction projects across the greater Austin metro area. The Company announced the opening as part of its national growth strategy.
The door shop will stock a full line of Masonite interior doors and Therma-Tru exterior doors. According to door shop manager Scott LaFrate, the facility is fully operational and ready to support builders in Central Texas.
84 Lumber is the largest privately held building materials supplier in the United States.
