May 13, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. Ahlstrom announces changes in its executive management team. Seppo Parvi, CFO and member of the Executive Management Team of Ahlstrom, has been appointed Executive Vice President, Food and Medical business area. He will also continue in his current role as CFO and Deputy to the CEO, reporting to Jan Lång, President and CEO, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.

Financial controlling, Integrated Business Planning and Mergers & Acquisitions will continue to report to Seppo Parvi, in addition to the Food and Medical business area. Parvi's other responsibilities will be divided between other members of the Executive Management Team.

William Casey, current EVP, Food and Medical, will resign from the Executive Management Team. His new role in Ahlstrom will be announced shortly.

Paula Aarnio, EVP, Human Resources & Sustainability, will assume responsibility for Information Solutions and Program Management in addition to Human Resources, Sustainability, Communications, as well as Health, Safety, Environment and Asset Risk Management (HSEA).

Legal Services will report to President & CEO Jan Lång, in addition to his current reportees.

The changes will be effective as of June 1, 2013.
