Altri announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary Greenvolt has concluded, together with funds managed by the Equitix Group, the acquisition of Tilbury Green Power Holdings Limited (“TGPH”) — the owner of a fully operational renewable energy biomass power plant, with net design capacity of 43.6 MW, located in the port of Tilbury, Essex, England.
Tilbury Power Plant is situated approximately 25 miles from central London and the plant has been designed with net generating capacity of 43.6 MW. As of year ended December 31, 2020, Tilbury Power Plant reported turnover of GBP 28.6 million with adjusted EBITDA for the year being GBP 18 million.
Altri is a leading European producer of bleached eucalyptus pulp and, more recently, a producer of dissolving pulp. The company is also a relevant player in the field of forest-based renewable energy.
