Mar 10, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. American investors expressed interest in the restoration of Amursky pulp and cardboard enterprise (Khabarovsk region, Russia), Tikhookeanskaya Zvezda daily (Khabarovsk) announced.
The other day the regional ministry of industry hosted a delegation from Boston Consulting Group that conducted the analysis of the project. According to deputy-minister Alexander Pankov, American investors collected a large portfolio of documents, which is an evidence of serious intentions, and promised to announce their decision soon.
Chairman of Boston Consulting Group Moscow office declined to comment on the collection of information by the company on Amursky.
Amursky pulp and cardboard enterprise was built in the 1950-s. In early 1990-s the enterprise stopped operation after unsuccessful privatization.
