Arctic Paper completes acquisition of Grycksbo Paper
Mar 01, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. As of March 1, 2010, Grycksbo Paper (Grycksbo Paper Holding AB) is included as a whollyowned subsidiary in Arctic Paper S.A, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network.
The purchase, which was made public December 8, 2009, means that Arctic Paper has now acquired all shares in Grycksbo Paper Holding AB from the investment fund, Accent Equity 2003, as well as from minority shareholders.
The fine paper mill Grycksbo Paper, is located in the region of Dalecarlia, Sweden. The mill’s annual production capacity totals 265,000 tons of coated fine paper. Following the acquisition, Arctic Paper’s collective production capacity totals over 800,000 tons per year.
“This acquisition is of great strategic importance for the Group”, says Michał Jarczyński, CEO at Arctic Paper S.A. “The acquisition of Grycksbo Paper will significantly strengthen our market position and allow us to leap ahead in European market share. Our total production capacity will increase with almost 50%.”

As of March 1, 2010, Grycksbo Paper will be headed by Managing Director, Per Skoglund.
In accordance with naming of the other Arctic Paper mills, Grycksbo Paper will in the near future be renamed Arctic Paper Grycksbo.
