Aurora Energy Solutions, LLC acquired Superior Pellet Fuels. Aurora Energy Solutions plans to invest in new infrastructure that will make operations more efficient and provide greater quality control.
Aurora Energy Solutions also purchased a wood-drying kiln that will be operational this fall and will provide Alaskans with a consistent and reliable supply of dry firewood. The company working on developing the facility location for the future firewood kiln in Fairbanks.
Chad Schumacher, General Manager of Superior Pellet Fuels (now Aurora Energy Solutions, LLC), said: “We have had the great opportunity to provide Alaskans with locally sourced, Alaskan-made wood pellets, and compressed logs for the last 10 years. You will continue to see the Superior Pellet Fuels brand around and on our products, while we move through the integration process.
