The leading manufacturer for state-of-the-art woodworking machinery Weinig and Awutek have agreed that the representation and import of Weinig Group machines in Finland will be transferred exclusively to Awutek Oy. Overall this will contain single machines and devices, projects and complete system solutions as well as service and spare part services belonging to Weinig Group.
The Weinig portfolio represented by Awutek covers the full process chain for solid wood processing: Multiblade rip saws, band saws, cross-cut saws, scanners, moulders, grinding machines, finger jointing lines, CNC centres, window machining centres. Additionally intelligent material handling, automation and clever software solutions are also part of the Weinig product line.
Awutek Oy was founded in 1976 by Erik and Iris Torkko. Their aim was to create a company offering high-quality machinery and services to companies operating in the field of wood processing.
