BC timber firms meet for brainstorm

Representatives from British Columbia’s largest wood product companies have met to discuss commercial opportunities for the province’s timber, Timber Trades Journal reported. Canfor, Interfor and West Fraser were represented at Forestry Innovation Investment’s (FII) annual stakeholder’s meeting at Vancouver’s Richmond Oval – the speed skating venue for 2010’s Winter Olympics. FII promotes British Columbia’s forest practices and products around the world.
