Beaulieu International Group has finalized its acquisition of Congoleum Flooring, with the transaction officially closing on 14 November 2025. The deal transfers all assets of the US-based resilient vinyl flooring pioneer, including its two production facilities and a workforce of approximately 270 employees, to the Belgian group.
The current Congoleum team will remain in place as integration begins, according to Beaulieu International Group.
The acquisition strengthens Beaulieu International Group's presence in the North American market and adds significant manufacturing capacity through Congoleum's plants in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania and Cedarhurst, Maryland.
Founded in 1886, Congoleum brings a strong product portfolio and valuable patents to the global flooring activities of the Belgian group.
