Bergs Timber has completed the sale of its Latvian sawmill, Vika Wood, to Austria's HS Timber Group. The transaction, initially announced on January 9, 2025, was finalized after receiving approval from the competition authority, marking the official transfer of ownership on Friday.
Bergs Timber expressed confidence in HS Timber Group’s ability to invest in and develop Vika Wood. The company also extended gratitude to CEO Haralds Kronbergs and his team for their contributions during their time with Bergs Timber.
