Binderholz takes over PHB Burgbernheimer Holzbau

Jul 31, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Binder Beteiligungs AG, Fügen, Austria, will take over PHB Burgbernheimer Holzbau GmbH & Co. KG in August 2015. The existing BSH production will be modernized and upgraded; capacities will be expanded, for which there is enough floor space at hand. The location will be supplied with dried, quality-graded sawn timber from the Kösching sawmill, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Synergies will be optimally used with the integration of the BSH plant into the existing Binderholz Group. With Binderholz Burgbernheim GmbH, the productive capacity for glued solid timber products will be expanded from its current 420,000 cubic meters to more than 500,000 cubic meters.

Binderholz is a leading European company, equipped with advanced technologies and production methods, with a corresponding reputation on the timber material market. At 5 Austrian sites Binder employes about 1.200 people. The range of solid wood products includes dimension lumber, surfaced lumber, solid wood panels edge glued and 3-ply, glulam beams, binderholz CLT BBS and pellet and briquet.
