Canada's lumber production fell 7.1% from May to 5 555.4 thousand cubic metres of lumber in June 2018. Production was 2.9% lower than in June 2017, as Statistics Canada said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Sawmills shipped 5 728.0 thousand cubic metres of lumber in June, down 8.4% from May and 0.5% lower compared with June 2017.
