Canada's lumber production increased 7.9% from December to 4 797.5 thousand cubic metres in January. Production was 9.4% higher than in January 2020, as Statistics Canada reported.
Sawmills shipped 4 605.7 thousand cubic metres of lumber in January, up 3% from December and up 7% from January 2020.
