Canada's lumber production decreased 1.3% from September to 5 035.7 thousand cubic metres in October. Production was 0.3% higher than in October 2019, as Statistics Canada reported.
Sawmills shipped 4 907.5 thousand cubic metres of lumber in October, up 0.5% from September and up 0.4% from October 2019.
