Canadian lumber production increased by 10.4% in October
Lumber production by sawmills increased 10.4% from September to 5 371.3 thousand cubic metres in October. Compared with October 2012, lumber production was up 4%.

was up 4%, as Statistics Canada said in the press release received by Lesprom
Network.
Sawmills shipped 5 016.0 thousand cubic metres of lumber in October, an
increase of 5.5% from September.
