May 04, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Canadian lumber production through February rose 8% compared to the first two months of 2009. February output of 1.7 billion board feet was down 2% from January, as Random Lengths reported. Production in British Columbia totaled 1.8 billion board feet through two months, up 22% from last year. Year-to-date production in Ontario declined 37% to 194 million board feet, and Alberta declined 10% to 419 million board feet, but all other provinces gained.
