Jul 29, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Carlos Bianchi de Aguiar has resigned as a member of the board and as the CEO of Sonae, company said in a statement. Following the resignation of Carlos Bianchi de Aguiar, the board of directors of Sonae Indústria SGPS, SA, has decided to implement an interim management structure with two CEOs being jointly responsible for the leadership and management of the company. In order to comply with legal requirements in Portugal, Rui Correia has been appointed as president of the executive committee and Joao Paulo Pinto as vice-president of the executive committee. Carlos Bianchi de Aguiar has made himself available in other roles, and he will continue to work with Sonae Industria, by giving his contribution based on his vast experience in our sector, to lead our efforts to develop a sustainable policy for the pine forests in Portugal.
