In consideration of this collaboration, such firms will enjoy speedier customs clearance at the US-Canada border.
In order to qualify for the C-TPAT program, Cascades was required to provide US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with a complete list of the security measures in force with respect to its supply chain. The drawing up of this list necessitated a rigorous review of the facilities, the personnel as well as the suppliers of Cascades Inc. The Company has also initiated an action plan aimed at better protecting its supply chain against terrorist threats, at informing its trade partners of what it is doing to this end, and of implementing C-TPAT recommendations within the framework of its business.
