Continental Management has stopped to build a timber-processing mill in Krasnoyarsk region

Oct 12, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Continental Management (Moscow, Russia) has stopped to build a timber-processing mill in Lesosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk region, Prime-Tass agency reported. The building was begun in December 2004. The company planned to end the first facility construction in the first quarter of 2006, and the second facility construction in the end of 2006. It was supposed that the enterprise would produce 700-800 cubic meters per year. Planned investments volume was estimated at Euro 50 million. But the company calculated that the costs could be 3 times more. The building is temporary closed down. Final decision is to be made later, the company reported. Continental Management runs several big pulp-and-paper enterprises. In Krasnoyarsk region it controls Eniseisky pulp-and-paper mill.
