David Salisbury Joinery appoints Wes Kangurs as new managing director

After a record-breaking 2018 for David Salisbury Joinery the company appoints Wes Kangurs as its new managing director as part of the next phase of its development, TTJ reported.

Mr Kangurs has been operations director at the company for three years and a board director since 2014. He will be supported by an expanded board of directors, which includes Karen Bell, sales and marketing director, and Pat Clunie, finance director.

Having led the company to new heights over the past 12 months, David Salisbury will now take up the role of non-executive chairman.

He will still retain full ownership as well as involvement in several key areas, such as overall strategy and manufacturing software development, where he will continue to add value.

The growth strategy for 2019 includes developing the company’s already expanding share of the oak framed buildings sector, whilst targeting growth for its timber windows and doors business.

David Salisbury is a member of the British Woodworking Federation and Wood Windows Alliance.
