Dunapack Packaging, a division of Austria's Prinzhorn Group, has entered into an agreement to acquire Stora Enso's German corrugated packaging operations. The transaction includes Gaster Wellpappe, Wellpappe Sausenheim and PTI, with their facilities located in Southwestern Germany. The announcement was made by the Prinzhorn Group.
The acquired operations generated approximately Euro 74 million in turnover in 2025 and employ around 350 people. The deal remains subject to merger clearance, with an expected closing during the course of 2026.
With more than 10,000 employees in 16 countries, the Prinzhorn Group is a European market leader in corrugated packaging, paper and recycling industries.
