Eastern Engineered Wood Products, a wholesale distributor of structural wood products used in residential and light-commercial construction, announced a new distribution center in Emporia, Virginia.The 15-acre parcel, in close proximity to Interstate 95 and US 58 in Southern Virginia, will expand the company’s delivery footprint from Western Connecticut to North Carolina and include new large markets such as Washington DC; Richmond and Virginia Beach, VA; and Raleigh/Durham, Greensboro, and Wilmington, NC.
Similar to the model for its Distribution Center in Bethlehem, PA, the new location will be dedicated exclusively to the sale of Engineered Wood Products (EWP).
The new facility will stock RigidLam®LVL and RFPI®series I-Joists from Roseburg Forest Products, NI series I-Joists from Nordic Structures, and StructurePRO®Treated Glulam.
