Ence aims to triple operating profit from its renewable energy business by 2030 through diversified growth across biomethane, renewable industrial heat, renewable electricity and renewable fuels. The company manages more than 2 million tonnes of biomass annually, positioning it as the leading biomass manager in the Iberian Peninsula.
The biomethane division targets annual production exceeding 1 TWh by 2030, with an EBITDA contribution of more than Euro 60 million. Ence currently has 42 identified projects, including 25 in the permitting phase and one operational plant in La Galera. Through its subsidiary Magnon, the renewable industrial heat business aims to reach 2 TWh of thermal energy production by 2030, generating more than Euro 40 million in EBITDA.
Ence operates 266 MW of installed renewable electricity capacity from agricultural and forestry biomass. In renewable fuels, the company generates more than 4 million tonnes of biogenic CO₂ annually, representing approximately 50% of the total in Spain.
Ence is a leading European producer of eucalyptus pulp, with a combined annual capacity of 1.2 million tons.
