For the first time, Helmut Limbeck, the Europapier Group CEO, is to chair meeting of the European Association of Paper Merchants (EUGROPA) as its president. Helmut Limbeck was already elected to this post for a two-year term at the last general meeting held on 30 November 2017.
“For me, it is both an honour and a challenge to lead the EUGROPA as president at a time of advancing digitisation. Together with all the EUGROPA members, I see my task as being to continue to stand up for the value and uses of paper as our main product. Accordingly, the diverse services offered by paper merchanting should be presented in an effective manner.”
Helmut Limbeck has been active within the Heinzel Group since January 2003 and became the Europapier Group CEO in November 2010.
The abbreviation EUGROPA stand for the European Association of Paper Merchants. Together, the EUGROPA members employ a workforce of around 15,000, the trading volume of the members amounts to a total of some 8.4 million tonnes.
