Once the completed NRA had been approved at national level, it was given final approval by the policy and standards unit of FSC International.

The assessment provides the risk designations to be used by organizations sourcing Controlled Wood in Japan, following the FSC Controlled Wood chain of custody standard FSC-STD-40-005 V2-1.

FSC is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide.
