Sep 30, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. F.H. Stoltze Land & Lumber Co. is implementing a reduction in its sawmill production schedule beginning this week, Random Lengths reported.
For one to two weeks every month, the swing shift in the sawmill will suspend operations starting with the weeks of September 28, October 19 and 26, November 16 and 23, and for undetermined weeks in future months. For one week per month, some of the sawmill personnel will be reassigned to the planer for a second shift to keep planer production in balance with the sawmill.
