May 28, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. The paper mill of Favini’s Dutch subsidiary Favini Apeldoorn B.V. will be auctioned on 17 June 2008, Euwid pulp and paper reported. Favini Apeldoorn had filed for liquidation in late January this year. Production at the Apeldoorn site was suspended on 25 January. The Dutch auctioning firm Trostwijk Auctions reports that items on sale include two complete paper machines (PM 7 and PM 6), six sheet cutting lines, equipment for stock preparation and waste water treatment as well as several bale presses and storage facilities. The PM 7 has an annual capacity of around 50 thousand tones of fine and coating base paper, while PM 6 is designed for an annual capacity of around 20 thousand tones of fine paper.
