Sep 08, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Finch Paper LLC has announced a price increase of $3 per cwt on six of its products, effective with shipments on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. The products involved are Finch Opaque, Finch Opaque Digital, Finch Casa Opaque, Finch Laser, Finch Opaque Xerographic and Finch Business Card Cover.
“We continue to aggressively seek ways to reduce our manufacturing input costs, but the surge in energy prices continues to raise not just our direct energy costs, but the prices we pay our suppliers for wood, chemicals and transportation,” said Chairman, President & CEO Richard J. Carota. “We regretfully have no choice but to pass some of these costs on to our customers.”
Orders acknowledged by September 15, 2008 will be shipped and invoiced at the acknowledged price, Finch said.
