GUTA-Insurance Arkhangelsk regional office insured the property of the 2 region’s timber-processing enterprises for a RUR 65.5 million and RUR 28.5 million respectively, GUTA-Insurance announced in a press-release. GUTA-Insurance signed a contract on property insurance with Arkhangelskles timber-processing enterprise. In line with the agreement, GUTA-Insurance will provide the insurance of the buildings, equipment and commodity/material values (sawn timber, raw materials and etc.) for RUR 65.5 million. The insured emergencies include fires, cataclysms and criminal activities committed by the 3rd party. Besides, GUTA-Insurance insured the industrial and administrative buildings of Solombalsky saw and timber-processing enterprise for RUR 28.5 million. Solombalsky s the largest sawn timber manufacturer in the North European part of Russia. The enterprise’s main production trend is the manufacture of sawn timber for export. Arkhangelskles is one of the oldest timber sector enterprises in Arkhangelsk region. The enterprise produces sawn timber for the Central and Western European markets – shaven and glued products. GUTA-Insurance was established in 1994. The company has the license to provide 82 types of insurance. The company’s stock capital is RUR 1.283 billion.
