Georgia-Pacific continues its investment in its plywood mill located in Prosperity, South Carolina through $14 million worth of upgrades and improvements to mill operations.
One of the major focuses of this project will be to upgrade the existing boiler, which will increase fuel efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and help boost the local economy through the jobs the project will create during the renovation.
Since 1975, Georgia-Pacific's Prosperity Plywood Mill has been operating in South Carolina as a leader in the building products industry. Throughout its history, there have been several improvements and investments to the mill to make sure that it stays competitive in today's formidable building products market.
